"La torre de Cálendir" es un dibujo que nos sumerge en la recámara más elevada de la misteriosa fortaleza de un mago de las sombras.
Realizado en 2002 mientas vivía en Londres, este dibujo muestra a una pareja de rebeldes goblins tratando de destruir una miniatura a escala del pequeño mundo en el que se encuentra escondida la morada de su temido y despiadado amo: el mago Cálendir. De tener éxito, tanto Braakdruffir como su hermano Riiknoffur —el hábil piloto del "globopez"— podrán ser libres para siempre, ya que serán capaces de debilitar el oscuro encantamiento que mantiene unida la torre de su señor.
Sin embargo, su misión no será nada sencilla. Los guardianes de la fortaleza los están persiguiendo e intentan capturarlos con vida por todos los medios, puesto que Cálendir está furioso con los goblins traidores y desea castigarlos con sus más dolorosos sortilegios. Es más, el propio mago acaba de materializarse en la recámara, ¿será capaz de detener a los hermanos antes de que puedan destruir su preciada fortaleza?
El tiempo vuela al igual que los goblins, y la torre del mago quizá nunca vuelva a ser vista en ninguno de los planos de existencia...
Cálendir's tower

"Cálendir's tower" is a drawing that takes us into the higher chamber of the mysterious fortress of a shadow mage.
Made in 2002 while I was living in London, this drawing shows a couple of rebel goblins trying to destroy a scale miniature of the world in which is hidden the tower of his feared and ruthless master: the magician Cálendir. If successful, both Braakdruffir and his brother Riiknoffur — the skillful "fishballoon" pilot — will be free forever, as they will be able to weaken the dark enchantment that holds the tower of his master.
However, their mission will not be easy.
The guardians of the fortress are chasing the goblins and trying to capture them alive at all costs, since Cálendir is furious and want to punish the traitors with his most painful spells. Moreover, the magician has just materialized himself into the chamber, ¿will he be able to stop the brothers before they can destroy his precious fortress?
Time flies like the goblins, and the wizard's tower may never be seen again in any of the planes of existence...
