Los Viajes Extraordinarios
de Julio Verne
A principios del 2014, tuve el gran honor de ser invitado como ilustrador en dos programas especiales de "Historias de Papel", dedicados a la vida y obra del genial escritor, poeta y dramaturgo francés Julio Verne.
Producidos para Canal 6 Plus TV de Perú, los programas —cada uno de treinta minutos de duración— redescubren, con elocuente maestría visual, cuatro de las obras más influyentes de los "Viajes Extraordinarios" de Verne: Veinte mil leguas de viaje submarino, Viaje al centro de la Tierra, De la Tierra a la Luna y Alrededor de la Luna.
Es así que, como un asiduo lector de varias de las obras del famoso visionario, tuve la enorme oportunidad de contribuir en la producción de los programas con nueve dibujos, los cuales detallan los pasajes más importantes de las obras tratadas. En el vídeo que acompaña este artículo podrán apreciar las secuencias en las que aparezco junto con los dibujos.

The Extraordinary Voyages
of Jules Verne
At the beginning of 2014, I had the great honour to be invited as an illustrator in two special TV shows called "Historias de Papel" (Paper Stories), dedicated to the life and work of the great French writer, poet and playwright Jules Verne.
Produced by Channel 6 Plus TV from Peru, each thirty minutes show rediscover with eloquent visual mastery four of the most influential books of Verne’s Extraordinary Voyages: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Center of the Earth, From the Earth to the Moon and Around the Moon.
Thus, as a regular reader of several of the works of the famous visionary, I had the great opportunity to contribute in the production of the shows with nine drawings, which portrait the most important parts of the books. In the video bellow you’ll be able to see the sequences in which I appear along with the drawings.
I would like to thank the producer of "Historias de Papel”, Ana Paola Durand, and Director, Gonzalo Benavente, for allowing me to participate in their wonderful show, and especially to my good friend Claudia Rospigliosi for making this project possible.
