Bruja Blanca | White Witch WIP#1

¡Hola estimados Amigos! Este es el Trabajo-en-Progreso #1 de mi próxima pintura al óleo (60 x 50 cm) acerca de una bondadosa bruja blanca.

Esta pintura es parte de un díptico, cuya primera pieza la integra mi última obra Bruja Oscura, y en la que veremos a una bruja especialista en las artes adivinatorias protegerse del maleficio provocado por su contraparte oscura.

Siempre es muy grato para mí iniciar una nueva pintura, sobre todo aplicar las primeras capas de pigmento sobre la superficie del lienzo e ir cubriendo progresivamente el dibujo que sirve de base a la obra. En este óleo estoy utilizando una paleta compuesta por colores más claros y luminosos.

Hi my dear Friends! This is Work-in-Progress #1 of my coming oil painting (60 x 50 cm - 23,6" x 19,6") about a benevolent white witch.

This painting is part of a diptych, which first piece was my last work Dark Witch, and where we'll see a witch specialist in the divination arts protect herself against a hex casted by her dark counterpart.

It is always a pleasure for me to start a new painting, especially apply the first layers of pigment on the canvas surface and progressively covering the drawing that underlies the work. In this painting I'm using a palette composed of brighter colors.
